Dogs, unlike people, are natural swimmers.  While some dogs don’t like the water as much as others, swimming is in their genes.  But when traveling on a boat or watercraft, or spending a long time at the beach, it’s important for dogs to be protected in the water.  Dogs become tired much faster than people, and depending on the circumstances, some can fail to realize that they’re tired when swimming in the water.  This is dangerous because a dog can run out to fetch a ball, and then be in danger of drowning because they’re too tired and they don’t realize it, necessitating the use of a dog life jacket.  There are dog life jackets designed to fit dogs of all different sizes, and the jackets can assist in keeping them afloat.  Swimming is an exhausting activity, and a life jacket will ensure the dog remains safe in the water.

When traveling on a boat, it’s also best to have the dog wear a life jacket, as it’s possible the dog could hit their head on something hard as they fell into the water, or become sucked into a wave or wake if they fell over. 

What up all my dog people!  No introductions necessary, who doesn’t know Franky Fresh up in this blog!  Now today I’m here to tell ya’ll why indigo is the color for the true baller, shot caller, twenty inch raise on the Impala… ballers out there!  Now ya’ll better know my dog Shakur is a beast on the court, and he represents the west coast with his fly Laker’s dog jersey, featuring that true baller color, indigo.  Even off the court, indigo is always Shakur’s first color choice, his dog coat is indigo, his dog bandana is indigo, and you better know his dog err force ones are indigo as well! 

Around my hood Shakur’s known as the Kobe Bryant of canine athletics; pair him with LeBron and Dwight Howard and they’d take on the world ya’ll!  But Shakur’s not quite the hot dog Kobe is, he’s known how to play team ball from day one.  Ya’ll better know Shakur will go for the allioop when his center is in position!

You may not think that dogs can get sick because they have furry little coats, but that is not always the case.  My dog, Chuck, got sick the other week, primarily because we went out for a jog in the rain.  A few days later, Chuck was sneezing every few seconds and acted like a lethargic toddler.

While the vet said he just caught a little cold, he also suggested that I get a dog jacket for Chuck.  A little while afterwards, I bought him one and now when we decide to go off on a drizzling jog, I don’t have to worry about him getting sick.
